Change of managing director

17.01.2023 Since January 2022, Christian-Marius Metz and Tim Sterbak have jointly steered the fortunes of the UV specialist IST METZ GmbH (Nürtingen, Germany). With effect from January 1, 2023, Tim Sterbak has become the sole managing director of the company. Christian-Marius Metz will in future focus on his work in the holding company.

UV Days 2023 will take place in July

06.01.2023 From 4 to 6 July 2023, the largest in-house exhibition for UV, LED and excimer technology will take place in Nürtingen, Germany, for the eleventh time. As part of the industry get-together, organiser IST METZ GmbH will inaugurate its new UV Technology Campus including LED LAB.

02.02.2022 UK-based UV curing specialist GEW has announced the launch of a major new product for both the company and the narrow web printing market. AeroLED is a fully air-cooled, high power UV LED system for full curing, printing, coating and converting applications up to 60cm wide.

Partnership with SArepco in South Africa

14.12.2021 As part of GEW's ongoing programme to strengthen its international distribution network, the company has announced the appointment of SArepco Pty Ltd. as its key distributor in South Africa. GEW's Nilpeter and ABG International business will continue to be managed by CSM Print Services, while all other business in the country will be handled by SArepco. This becomes effective from 1 January 2022.

Two-day open house event with partners

Neill has been brought in to strengthen the sales team at GEW as the move will enable Gary Doman, GEW’s international sales manager for Sheetfed, to focus on key account development and strategic growth with GEW’s global sales team.

24.09.2021 The UK-based UV curing specialist GEW has announced that Chuck Irons has joined the company as sales manager, North America. His career spans over 40 years in the industry and has been focused on sales and sales management in commercial, newspaper and digital printing.
