Kampf Schneid- und Wickeltechnik
United portfolio and digital services

24.10.2022 Kampf Schneid- und Wickeltechnik (Wiehl, Germany) is presenting itself at the international plastics trade fair K for the first time together with other companies of the Jagenberg Group. The focus of the presentation – in addition to offering the new digital services – is the joint portfolio of Kampf and Atlas Converting, headquartered in Bedford, UK.

The two exhibits on the stand take this theme into account: visitors can experience two modern slitting machines in the new design. Both the Kampf ConSlitter and the Atlas TitanSlitter are reported to offer maximum productivity and flexibility by extensive option catalogues.

Automation and increased production output

The ConSlitter comes with modern turret technology and automation to reduce downtimes and increase production output. It is particularly suitable for processing ever smaller batch sizes. The Atlas TitanSlitter – also a turret slitter – is characterised by an even more compact design. Atlas and Kampf have been working together intensively since the end of 2020. A two-brand strategy jointly opens up further market segments for both companies. The Atlas/Kampf trade fair team is also showing the latest developments in the field of primary slitting and winding machines in Düsseldorf.

Atlas offers stand visitors an insight into the features of the newly developed ProSlitter BlackLine in a new design with features that optimally enable the processing of BOPP, the increasingly important BOPE, and other materials. The new PrimeSlitter BlackLine from the Kampf developers is expected to not only delight BOPET producers. A stationary machine for maximum flexibility with a high degree of automation, which – already equipped with the@vanced – offers digital services.

Integrative platform for digital solutions

Kampf has been paying special attention to the topic of digitalisation for years and has set up new specialist departments and interdisciplinary teams at an early stage. At K'2022, the Digital Customer Solutions team will personally answer visitors' questions on new digital service solutions: on the possibilities of the integrative platform the@vanced and, last but not least, on the benefits of the new customer portal my@advanced.

In the meantime, Kampf and Atlas offer seven service branches worldwide in the joint service and a considerably enlarged service team, which is constantly enriching its knowledge and experience in service. Thus, 24/7 service is aimed to be not only an advertising message, but actually a promise of investment security to customers worldwide.
