The numerous guests were not deterred by the rain and were delighted with the exciting activities organised by the Kampf team. A games programme for the young visitors as well as culinary delights and musical performances compensated for the construction noise, dust and restrictions of the past months.

Machine demonstrations and training in focus

In the in-house technical centre, the visitors experienced machine demonstrations. At the same time, the Kampf trainees presented training opportunities and professions in their work of knowledge. The new 2500m² assembly hall itself and the adjoining modern offices were explored with great interest. The energy-optimised design of the buildings and the numerous e-charging parking spaces also provided plenty to talk about.

Official inauguration ceremony

The summer party was preceded by the official inauguration ceremony on 9 September. The traditional cutting of the ribbon was performed by Kampf managing director Markus Vollmer with Mayor Ulrich Stücker, architect Lars Andre Lang, Dr Stephan Witt, COO Jagenberg AG, Dr Erich Bröker, CEO Jagenberg AG and the chairman of the supervisory board of Jagenberg AG, Jan Kleinewefers. Assembly is already underway in the new hall. During the speeches, the guests looked at an 11m wide slitting machine type PrimeSlitter in modern design. Up to eight machines of this size can be accommodated in the new workshop.
