DIENES successful at German Brand Award

The managing director of DIENES Werke für Maschinenteile GmbH & Co KG (Overath, Germany) Rudolf Supe-Dienes, and Miriam Supe-Dienes (marketing) received the "Special Mention" award of the German Brand Awards in Berlin on 21 June 2018. The "Special Mention" category honours special aspects of brand management – an award that recognises the commitment to the competitiveness of German brands.

"I am very pleased that DIENES has been awarded the German Brand Award," said Supe-Dienes. "This shows that DIENES, as a medium-sized company, is on the right track not only in terms of various innovation awards but also in terms of brand management, on which we can continue to build in the future.

DIENES received two awards, one for the brand management of the DIENES brand in the category "Industry Excellence in Branding - Corporate Brand of the Year Category Industry, Machines & Engineering" and the other in the category "Product Brand of the Year" for the brand management of the knife holder series "DS".

Initiated by Germany's design and brand authority and judged by a top-class panel of experts from brand management and brand science: The German Brand Award is regarded as the award for successful brand management in Germany. Only companies nominated by the German Brand Institute, its brand scouts and expert committees for the German Brand Award 2018 can take part in the competition. Over 1250 entries have been submitted to this year's edition.
