Munich Adhesives and Finishing Symposium
Raw Materials – Applications – Process Engineering
For many participants as well as tabletop exhibitors, the time of preparations and planning is currently starting. No change in the calendar – the MKVS will take place as planned with maximum health and safety measures, supported by the Westin conference hotel team.
Hybrid platform
Adapted to the impact of the pandemic, the 47th Munich Adhesives and Finishing Symposium 2022 will be organised – as last year – as a hybrid platform and networking event. The MKVS Hybrid combines a "live on-site" component with a "virtual" online offering. A physical event with the atmosphere of a conference and a simultaneous digital event that still offers participants the opportunity to interact with everyone else. With live web streaming as well as recording of the conference presentations, there will be the option of a video-on-demand after the symposium for all registered participants via the conference website.
Focus on hot melt adhesives
This year, the Munich Adhesives and Finishing Symposium will focus on hot melt adhesives, covering the full range from raw materials, applications to process technology for and in all adhesive systems and application techniques involved (hot melts, pressure sensitive adhesives, and extrudable films) as well as the corresponding technical and machine equipment. The topics of the programme, which is now fully available online, are divided into five sessions covering all areas of bonding, printing and finishing and include business strategies, materials, processes, design, legislation and regulation, sustainability, research, development and innovation – predominantly in paper, plastic and film applications, self-adhesives, packaging and labelling applications, tapes & labels, coating & laminating, as well as nonwovens-related applications.
The 2.5-day independent technical conference and networking event will again be rounded off with a small tabletop exhibition, with exhibitors including Frans Vermee, Heraeus, Keyser&Mackay, Kraemer Resins, Kraton Pine Chemical, Lanxess, Morchem and Rocholl.
