GEW (EC) Limited – GEW NUVA2 UV curing system
NUVA2 is easily retrofitted to existing machines. For new production lines, UV-curable hotmelt adhesives offer a credible alternative to many solvent-based coatings, offering near-equivalent performance but with a greatly reduced physical footprint of the coating line and a greatly reduced environmental footprint of the process. The investment and operating costs of a NUVA2 UV system in relation to a solvent drying oven and afterburner are also substantially lower, as is the physical space requirement. A NUVA2-equipped UV hotmelt line thus lower the barrier to entry for production of high performance adhesive materials.
