01.01.2023 Digital finishing is also becoming increasingly important in the label printing segment. Especially in the production of small series with finishing or in the personalisation of the finishing itself, individualisation is playing an increasingly important role.

PPMDF + Inkjet

PrintsPaul now combines inkjet-based digital finishing with conventional roll-to-roll conversion in a compact machine, the PPMDF. Transparent varnish is applied digitally and precisely, brand-controlled at the appropriate point. The amount applied can be determined in stages. This means that even raised and clearly perceptible applications of varnish can be realised.

If cold foils are also used, the finishing process creates products with an individual character. With the PPMDF in combination with the digital finishing by the inkjet module, even small series with an individual finishing can be realised cost-effectively.
