29.04.2022 PA/PE high barrier films with EVOH are currently in short supply on the world market. Film specialist Schur Flexibles (Wiener Neudorf, Austria) presents VACUflex MHB-T, a solution to counteract the worldwide EVOH shortage.

Suppliers of products that require a reliable oxygen barrier are thus offered a high-performance alternative that ensures a reliable barrier effect.

Top performance without EVOH

VACUflex MHB-T offers secure packaging and maximum product protection without EVOH. For this new film solution, Schur Flexibles has modified its proven HB films to achieve a highly reliable barrier effect. The VACUflex MHB-T film series provides an optimised medium oxygen barrier and is available in material thicknesses from 70 to 340µm. These innovative films with a modified structure demonstrate excellent machinability.

Thanks to the wide-ranging expertise of the Schur Flexibles Group, the R&D department was able to react quickly to the EVOH bottleneck.
