From Bangkok, he is now moving to Lengerich in Westphalia, Germany, to one of Europe's leading full-service providers of flexible packaging and technical films made of plastic and plastic composites. The opening up of new strategic markets is on his agenda as well as the accelerated development of sustainable product protection.

New possibilities through innovation

"I am excited about the task in this successful family business of opening up completely new possibilities for plastic packaging and films through our innovations. Sustainability is and remains the future of the packaging industry," says Edelmann. The new CSO completes the management board with CFO Karsten Pax, COO Manfred Albrecht and CEO Dr Tobias Lührig. He will now once again focus more strongly on strategy and digitalisation.
