Six panel discussions, 18 live talks, eight keynote speeches, 18 live broadcasts – the 10th edition of the UV Days was held in an “on air” format this time. IST Metz has established this event to showcase its capabilities as a world market leader in the field of UV and LED curing.
Broad range of technical applications
“We are delighted by the huge success of this tenth edition of our online in-house exhibition, which once again covered a broad range of technical applications. With over 1000 viewers from 89 countries, UV Days “on air” was more international than ever,” says Tim Sterbak, CSO & CTO of IST Metz GmbH.
Large number of participants
In 2021, the world’s biggest exhibition for optical systems was held live “on air” for the first time. The latest developments in UV, LED and excimer technology were streamed from a TV studio directly to participants’ screens. The programme included: packaging printing, LED technology, commercial printing, excimer technology and IST innovations. Even outside the printing industry, the applications for optical systems are almost endless. That is why IST offers tailor-made systems and solutions as well as professional support and laboratory services with UV, LED and excimer units for industrial applications. IST Metz systems are used in the processing of materials like glass, plastic, wood and wood-based materials. During the UV Days, IST Metz presented its excimer laboratory system in live demos.
