IST METZ
Integration Technology becomes IST INTECH
The British company Integration Technology, which specialises in the development and manufacture of UV LED curing solutions for digital printing, has been part of the METZ group of companies since 2011. With the rebranding, the company is now responding to the increased global market demand for reliable, high-performance LED solutions. The joint brand combines the decades of expertise of both companies and offers a broader range of innovative products.
Milestone in LED development
A state-of-the-art research and development laboratory is currently being built at the IST METZ headquarters in Nürtingen, southern Germany. The so-called LEDLab is a strategic step towards consolidating the company's leading position in the market for curing solutions. The aim of the investment in research and development is to make the already sustainable technology even more efficient and to make UV-LED attractive for new markets as well. In the new competence centre, a team of technology experts from both companies is researching and developing the next generation of high-performance and sustainable UV-LED systems.
Making profitable use of cross-group strategy
Tim Sterbak, Managing Director at IST METZ, says of the new corporate alignment: "We are using Integration Technology's decades of LED expertise to create joint synergies. The LEDLab, in particular, is an important milestone in the joint alignment of LED technology to consolidate the companies' position in the market and drive growth."Simon Roberts, Group Managing Director at Integration Technology, is also looking forward to the new chapter: "With the formation of IST INTECH, we are creating a more recognisable and comprehensive brand for the broad UV systems market. Combining the strengths of Integration Technology and IST METZ provides our customers with expert advice and state-of-the-art, high-performance LED products along the entire value chain from a single source."
