German Design Award for corporate design

23.11.2021 A new award for the tesa design: with the German Design Award 2022, the German Design Council honoured the further development of the corporate design of the company group from Norderstedt. After the German Brand Award 2021, the "Special Mention" is the second award for the new tesa design.

The renowned German Design Award honours companies whose products and projects are groundbreaking in the international design landscape.

Excellent Communications Design

tesa received the "Special Mention" award in the category Excellent Communications Design for the further development of its corporate design. With the evolution of the tesa design, the company is aiming for expanded application possibilities in the digital environment, for the further development of the brand as well as for boosting recognisability. This year, already for the tenth time, the German Design Council presented the awards to the winners in the Categories 'Excellent Product Design', 'Excellent Communications Design', and 'Excellent Architecture'.

"As an innovative company where the development of new products is already part of our DNA, the overall image concept must be in tune. In this context, the corporate design is one of the most important factors," says Sandy Eggers, head of corporate branding in the Corporate Communications department at tesa, responsible for the further development of the tesa design. "With our consistent market presence, we strive to make professionalism, innovation as well as our customer focus perceptible on an emotional level too."

Added brand value through design

The German Design Award is given by the German Design Council ('Rat für Formgebung'), the German brand and design authority. Founded in 1953 on the initiative of the German Bundestag, the foundation supports businesses in consistently achieving added brand value through design.
