Schreiner Group acquires HAWE building in Dorfen, Germany

Schreiner Group (Oberschleißheim, Germany), a leading specialist for functional labels, security solutions, RFID and printed electronics, wants to realise further growth and moves into a new production site in Dorfen near Erding. Karl Haeusgen and Wolfgang Sochor, board members of the previous owner HAWE Hydraulik SE, handed over the keys to managing director Roland Schreiner. The move to the new building, the configuration of the machine bank and the corresponding customer audits will take place in the new site in the course of 2018.

The centrepiece of the new site is a production that fully focuses on “Operational Excellence”. “This is all about continuous and dynamic optimisation of all processes and structures combined with the aim of increasing cost efficiency through standardisation,” underlines managing director Roland Schreiner. “Our comprehensive company strategy is based on the principle of customer trust. We see ourselves as strategic partner and want to fully fulfil the requirements of our customers in every aspect – from cost-efficient standard products up to innovative, individually designed high-tech solutions that include the integration of RFID, printed electronics and complex security solutions within the label. The former will mainly be produced in Dorfen in the future.”

With a surface of 12 000m2, the outstanding infrastructure including a highway connection starting in 2019, as well as the proximity to the Airport Munich, Dorfen can be considered as an ideal site for Schreiner. The building itself meets the requirements of a high-tech company. Just like Schreiner Group, the hydraulics manufacturer HAWE participates in the energy efficiency network Munich-Upper-Bavaria and aims at reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions in its sites.
