On 1 April 2017, RHEINTACHO Messtechnik GmbH from Freiburg, Germany, has acquired the activities of ERGECA (RGK Video Systems). The business has been moved over to the newly founded RHEINTACHO Vision Systems. At the recently concluded Labelexpo Europe 2017 in Brussels, the two companies presented themselves for the first time in a joint booth.

Christoph Mozer, managing partner of RHEINTACHO Messtechnik, underlined: “I am very pleased about the fact that we can continue our longstanding, trusted partnership with Spring Coating Systems, the former owner of RGK Video Systems, in this manner. I am especially happy because we managed to hold the long-term employees of RGK Video Systems within the new company. This step is a major building block in a successful business development of RHEINTACHO Group and to set the company on a broader base.”

As a technical highlight on the joint booth, RHEINTACHO presented a hybrid system for print image inspection by means of standard and LED-UV light source. Further joint developments are currently being realised.

Automatic synchronisation by means of a long-range laser beam is now also offered by RHEINTACHO in a further portable stroboscope model. Besides the already successfully introduced light-intensive RT STROBE super qbLED, this innovative feature is now also available in the very handy RT STROBE pocketLED.
