Plasticos del Segura installs new slitter rewinder from Enprom
The company Plasticos del Segura has recently received a new automatic non-stop double turret slitting and rewinding machine, model e2TCA 140, designed and manufactured by Enprom Packaging (Girona, Spain).
This new project reinforces the relationship between both companies, as an addition to the existing two turret rewinders that are already running in the facilities of Plasticos del Segura, and a machine that is currently being built.
The current project is the result of close collaboration between both partners in the design and realisation of solutions that are adapted to the production processes of the customer, thus providing competitive advantages in the flexible packaging sector.
The e2TCA 140 includes integrated laser cutting equipment for the production of flexible packaging for the agro-food industry. With this new model, Enprom’s customer is expected to achieve faster reel changes, which, for these types of products, may free up one hour per shift in continuous production. The modular concept of Enprom’s machine enables the inline installation of features such as micro-perforation, macro-perforation, laser cutting, semi-rotary die-cutting, inspection and other inline processes.
