Neschen sells 100th self-produced laminator
A real sales success is the new laminator made by NESCHEN AG from Bückeburg, Germany. After the world premiere at FESPA Amsterdam in March, the British machine supplier Atech acquired the 100th unit of the laminator series, which was developed and self-produced by NESCHEN.
With this order, the specialist for modern self-adhesive products and high-quality coated media, reached the self-imposed annual goal in laminator sales within no more than five months. Atech, an independent supplier for the graphic industry and NESCHEN customer for 25 years, opted for the NESCHEN HotLam 1650 TH, which can process 12m laminate in the record time of one minute. “This speed is unrivalled in the industry,” underlined Stephan Liegerer, responsible for the new laminators at NESCHEN. The centrepiece of the R&D work that NESCHEN conducted together with its customers were economical and ergonomic controls as well as the maintenance of the hot and cold laminators. Many parts can therefore be replaced and repaired by the customers themselves.
Dr Hannspeter Schubert, CEO of Blue Cap AG, was also satisfied. Blue Cap has signed a deal for the acquisition of NESCHEN AG in July. “NESCHEN boasts high potentials in R&D. The new laminators are an excellent example for this. The recent sales success reaffirms our decision to invest even more in own developments in the future,” he said.
