Growing global network of ColorTrack dealers leads to expanded partnership between QuadTech and ColorConsulting
QuadTech Inc. (Sussex, Wisconsin) and ColorConsulting S.r.l. (Saronno, Italy) recently announced an expanded partnership for managing the growth of QuadTech’s global network of ColorTrack dealers. Under the formal agreement, ColorConsulting will leverage their colour workflow expertise and relationships with ink manufacturers to prepare and support regional ColorTrack dealers, ultimately helping individual printers get the most out of QuadTech’s technology and software. QuadTech will continue to focus on OEMs and consumer product groups, as their colour management needs are unique and vary widely across markets.
ColorConsulting is well-positioned to manage sales, on-site training, and service with QuadTech’s ColorTrack dealers, and can draw upon years of experience helping packaging companies, dealers and ink manufacturers work together to resolve colour issues.
ColorTrack is a unique colour management software for flexo and gravure packaging applications, and a highly adaptive “colour expert in a box” solution for packaging printers. With a variety of options for hand-held and inline configurations, the software facilitates fast, accurate press-side correction of ink formulations.
“For the past two years, we have leveraged ColorConsulting’s expertise and thorough understanding of colour management challenges as we introduced ColorTrack to the market,” said QuadTech President Karl Fritchen. “With the growing enthusiasm for ColorTrack, and rapidly expanding global network of authorised dealers, it only makes sense for us to turn to a trusted partner.”Carlo Carnelli, general manager of ColorConsulting, adds: “Today, ColorTrack is a well-known product in the packaging industry, and it is necessary to have a global network of dealers that can meet the demand by bringing new exciting colour technology to the industry. ColorConsulting will train and support these colour experts to greatly improve the colour workflow of packaging companies."
