"With our product development as well as educational and association work, we are shaping the path to genuine recycling management and product responsibility," explains the executive board in its foreword. That is why the development and manufacture of recyclable flexible plastic packaging with a recycled content will be at the top of the agenda in the 2019 reporting year.

Digitisation – the topic of the future

Digitisation is another future-oriented topic for Bischof + Klein. Supply chain management and process standardisation are important keywords here. The company is bundling the creative energy and know-how of its engineers, data analysts and business excellence in the new Innovation Centre. Together with customers and suppliers, they initiate sustainable future projects.

Modernised machinery

In 2019, the family-owned company has invested €42M in the modernisation of its machinery and infrastructure, 30 million of which will be invested in the two German plants. The declared goal: "We want to become the most respected and innovative product protection company in the world."
