Bandera's blown film line for Malaysia

The Luigi Bandera SpA, a leading manufacturer of blown film machinery based in Busto Arsizio, Italy, strengthens its presence in the South-East Asian market by selling a blown film line for flexible packaging in Malaysia. This new order reaffirms Bandera’s positive market trend, which has registered in the last two years in the sale of as many as ten pieces of equipment in the South-East-Asian territory, both for blown film and flat die extrusion technology. China remains a strong standalone market.

Applications for the new line include general packaging film, laminates, shrink and printing film, as well as courier bags. With a lay-flat of up to 1600mm net, a thickness range of 20-200µm and an output of up to 300kg/h, the machine with 12-component batch dosing system is said to be very versatile. Moreover, the experts at Bandera have equipped the machine with eight ultrasound sensors for IBC management and automatic width control, a high efficiency dual lip air cooling ring, and an automatic film thickness measuring and adjusting system. A web centre guide and a corona station round up the technical features.
