BST eltromat International GmbH from Bielefeld, Germany, a leading producer of quality assurance systems for the web converting industry, and the Italian company Euromac Costruzioni Meccaniche s.r.l., manufacturer of slitting and winding machinery, have announced at ICE Europe that they will continue their partnership. The two companies offer reliable solutions and machines for the converting industry.

As a long-term customer of BST eltromat, Euromac uses its quality assurance systems on its lines. For instance, the slitting machines from Euromac feature web guidance systems with the line and contrast sensor CLS Pro 600 for web guidance control tasks. With its high-resolution CCD colour line chip, it scans the web edges, as well as printed elements such as lines precisely and at high speeds. Even in case of interrupted lines or weak contrasts, CLS Pro 600 guarantees a precise guidance of the material webs. This sensor offers machine operators very high efficiency and full flexibility. Another advantage is the user friendliness of the system. It boasts an intuitive user guidance and an easy menu.

Another system used by Euromac in its machines is the BST eltromat iPQ-Check, a solution for 100% inspection. With this system, the print on materials is inspected. The system delivers detailed colour image data over the entire print format thanks to high-performance line scan cameras. Here, iPQ-Check differentiates between process-related and sporadic errors, which are all reliably protocolled. Together with the iPQ-Workflow module, the doctor machine will be stopped at the identified spot of the error, in order to eliminate it. Different options and adjustments guarantee comfort and high productivity for the customers. iPQ-Check and iPQ-Workflow are modules of the iPQ-Center from BST eltromat. Further modules are iPQ-View for video web control and iPQ-Spectral for inline spectral colour measurement.
