After four years of intensive sales cooperation, BST eltromat International GmbH (Bielefeld, Germany) has acquired a stake in Nyquist Systems GmbH from Landsberg, Germany. With the inspection systems of the TubeScan family from Nyquist Systems, BST eltromat rounds off its comprehensive portfolio of solutions for quality assurance in packaging and label printing. These products – BST eltromat sells them exclusively – are ideally suited to BST eltromat's narrow web printing processes. This also applies to the new QLink workflow, which is supposed to open up previously unknown possibilities in terms of synchronisation, data handling and error editing.

“Our long-term strategic partnership with BST eltromat International aims to further advance the success of the TubeScan family developed and produced by Nyquist, thereby consolidating our joint market leadership," explains Kristian Jünke, managing director of BST eltromat International. To date, the two companies have jointly installed more than 800 TubeScan systems for narrow-web label and packaging printing worldwide. Siegfried Koepp, CEO of elexis AG, adds: "I am pleased that we as the parent company were able to support BST eltromat in taking this important step in the cooperation with Nyquist Systems. The systems of the TubeScan family perfectly complement BST eltromat's portfolio."

Dr Stephan Krebs, managing director of Nyquist Systems GmbH, emphasises the central benefit of the strategic partnership with BST eltromat for his company: "The close partnership with BST eltromat within the framework of the new participation and the exclusive distribution agreement enables Nyquist Systems to have a strong global presence and the rapid implementation of projects for customers in all parts of the world. The joint presence at last year's LABELEXPO trade fairs once again offered both companies manifold opportunities to further expand their already strong position in the market for narrow web applications.”

Founded in 2004, Nyquist Systems stands for innovative, customer-specific solutions for 100% image monitoring of web-shaped materials and print control with integrated web monitoring, lighting technologies for special applications and networking of inspection components via workflow.
