33 jobs saved at DORNBUSCH GRAVUREN GmbH
The three managing partners of the renowned roller manufacturer A. + E. UNGRICHT GmbH + Co. KG (Mönchengladbach, Germany), will take over the company Dornbusch Gravuren (from now on DORNBUSCH ENGRAVING GmbH), which has declared insolvency on 30 May 2016. Effective from the very same day, the district court in Krefeld named the lawyer Peter Houben as preliminary liquidator.
Dornbusch was founded in 1900 as engraving and machinery company for embossing calenders. Afterwards, it developed into a world leading provider of embossing calenders, plates, print rollers and plates and similar products.
At the time of the insolvency, the company had 51 employees. With the support of the staff, the preliminary liquidator managed to stabilise and continue the business operations. Since 21 September 2016, U3 GRAVUREN GmbHis in charge of the company in Kempen, Germany. 13 employment relationships were terminated by the liquidator after a reconciliation of interest and a social compensation plan, which found the approval of the works council.
U3 GRAVUREN GmbH, which in the meantime operates under “DORNBUSCH ENGRAVING GmbH” was founded by the managing partners of A. + E. UNGRICHT GmbH + Co. KG.
