Polytype Converting has merged with OLBRICH GmbH, but remains its own brand.

The brands Polytype Converting and OLBRICH will continue to serve their customers in their markets and branches. The common customers are reported to benefit from the decades of expertise of the OLBRICH, Polytype Converting and Pagendarm brands, as well as the resulting consolidation and optimisation of existing product segments and divisions. The entire service segment is being expanded internationally at the group level.

New management structure

Long-time OLBRICH sales director Josef Döing will take over the responsibilities of both brands’ sales organisations. Moreover, Esa-Matti Aalto has joined the management of OLBRICH GmbH as CSO, effective 1 October 2020. He explains: “Our customers will benefit from synergies in our flexible and globally present manufacturing and service organisation, but also from unique research and development centres in Germany and Switzerland, where we develop future-oriented technologies for more than 50 sectors and market segments.”

More efficient structures

Bastian Kuhl (CEO) and Rolf Langkamp (CTO) state: “This will allow us to benefit from a more efficient corporate structure, which will consequently strengthen our international market position of the entire OLBRICH Group as one powerful unit.” All locations will remain in operation and customer contacts will be available as usual.
