Professional career
The new area sales manager brings in-depth know-how. After his training as a mechatronics engineer at a renowned mechanical engineering company in Esslingen, Polzin worked there as an application engineer, among other things, and acquired extensive practical experience in project business. In addition to his demanding work, Polzin completed evening school and graduated as a technical business administrator. At the beginning of February 2021, he came to Baumer hhs to serve the company's customers in Baden-Württemberg and German-speaking Switzerland as the new area sales manager. Initially, Polzin was intensively familiarised with the possibilities and advantages of Baumer hhs solutions for industrial adhesive application and the associated quality assurance in the specialist departments and in the hhs solution centre at the headquarters in Krefeld as well as in the Berlin operating facility. Together with Haug, he visited customers in the region, observing all the safety regulations that this period entails, in order to introduce himself and discuss with them current requirements for adhesive application and quality assurance.
