Lenze
Meeting of the digitisation experts
The focus of the one-day network meeting was on the question of how the enormous and constantly growing data volumes in companies can be kept under control and used to create value. Lenze CEO Christian Wendler opened the event and impressively demonstrated that Lenze is also a pioneer when it comes to digitalisation. In his presentation, Dieter Schöneberg, expert for product data management at Lenze, provided insights into the digital processing and preparation of product data as a basis for e.g. configuration, online shops and the support of digital engineering processes with the digital twin.
Good and structured data as a prerequisite
Gerd Schüler, group process and quality manager at Lenze: "One of the aims of digitisation is to automate recurring and, above all, non-value-adding process steps in companies and thus become more efficient. The prerequisite for this is good, structured data that can be made available for further use in a wide variety of channels. This is where we and our partner Stibo Systems are at the forefront."
Personal exchange remains important
Andreas Sperling, senior account manager Stibo Systems GmbH: "Despite all the digitalisation, nothing beats direct and personal exchange between users – the lively discussions today have impressively proven this. The 5th User Group Meeting was again a complete success. My special thanks go to Lenze for their hospitality and the exciting in-house exhibition, which showed the enthusiasm with which digitalisation is being implemented here".
