The takeover of the company is expected to strengthen the mechanical engineering division of Jagenberg AG. The purchase agreement was signed on 11 December 2019 and the Coesfeld-based Lauer company with 15 employees was taken over by the control and automation specialist Lebbing engineering & consulting GmbH.

CE marking and risk assessment

For 25 years, Ingenieurbüro Lauer has been an expert in all issues relating to CE marking & risk assessment. Through the takeover, Lebbing has a competent partner for safety analyses and CE certification, so that in future customers can be offered an integrated and coordinated solution portfolio. All employees of Ingenieurbüro Lauer will be taken over and the previous range of services of the company will be maintained.

Partner for mechanical engineers and operators

Lebbing engineering & consulting GmbH considers itself a partner of both mechanical engineers and machinery operators. The foundation stone of the company was laid back in 1997. The company at the time, Lebbing Industrieservice & Consulting, provided services in the fields of electronics and automation technology. The high demand and the requirements of the market led to expansions of the fields of activity and of the capacity, and ultimately led to the target-oriented founding of Lebbing engineering & consulting GmbH. Today, Lebbing employs 85 personnel in the fields of electronics, automation, drive technology, visualisation, data systems and switchboard system technology.
