As part of a succession plan, Reimund Pichler and Peter Gärtner jointly manage STÜER Maschinenbau GmbH (Langenberg, Germany) as managing partners. The company, which has been in existence for over 30 years, specialises in the fields of automation, handling, converting and packaging and intends to grow further in the future.

In the area of converting, all individual machines were newly built up in modular design, while customer-specific demands can still be met. In this way, line groups can also be freely selected with regard to the winding, cutting and laminating technology, right up to the packaging line. In addition, the company expects reduced delivery times. From raw product to packaged product ready for sale, the customer can thus configure a specific line network.

In the next two years Stüer also plans to set up export-oriented sales partnerships in order to further advance the company's expansion.
