EyeC GmbH (Hamburg, Germany) increases its focus on worldwide services and transfers Thomas Albers the global overall responsibility for the service department at its headquarters. EyeC offers inspection systems that ensure the quality of printed products – such as folding boxes, labels, package inserts and flexible packaging – throughout the entire manufacturing process.

Thomas Albers brings to his new position as head of service and application approximately 20 years of experience in the digitisation of archive materials. He draws on his extensive knowledge of camera technology and the preservation and improvement of digital data. As a field service engineer, he established himself as an expert for offline inspection solutions at EyeC (Proofiler Series) from October 2014. In his previous position as deputy service manager, he most recently took over the coordination and prioritisation of worldwide service assignments and was responsible for communication with international customers and sales partners. In his new function, he is responsible for compliance with support and software maintenance contracts, quality of service assignments and personnel management in the department.

"The ever more complex requirements placed on our print image control systems today demand more than ever flexible service concepts and a quick response to customer questions. In order to guarantee our high service quality also in the following years, we will continue to expand our training concept and also increase our personnel perspective. As a team we can thus ensure that EyeC continues to be perceived in the market as a competent provider with a strong focus on service," says Thomas Albers.
