Appointment of new COO

07.02.2022 Meech International (Whitney, UK), one of the world's leading manufacturers of electrostatic control and web cleaning systems, has appointed Adam Battrick as chief operating officer (COO). Adam Battrick, who has been with Meech since 1997, has been promoted from his previous position as sales director. He was also a business unit director at Meech, working in technical sales and various product manager positions.

In his new position, Battrick will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the company, working closely with and continuing to report to Chris Francis, CEO of Meech International. While Chris Francis will continue to set the international strategy and direction of the company, Adam will be responsible for working with Meech directors to implement the strategy.

With the company for over 25 years

Commenting on his appointment, Adam Battrick says: "The 25+ years I have worked at Meech have been truly rewarding and this new role is a milestone in my career. Meech is currently growing and working on some rapidly developing sectors and innovations so it is an ideal time to take on this new level of responsibility.
