Maxcess appoints new VP of global supply chain

Maxcess (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma), a specialist in innovative products and services for web handling applications, has named Tim Quinn as vice president of global supply chain.

 “Tim is a performance-driven leader with a track record of building strong sourcing teams and implementing effective procurement strategies across diverse industries in complex, global organisations,” said Doug Knudtson, COO for Maxcess.

Quinn was most recently VP of strategic sourcing for Standex International, a leading manufacturer of food service equipment. Prior to that, he was VP of global supply chain for Ametek, a global provider of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices. He has also led global supply chain activities as the chief procurement officer for the Elster Group (now Honeywell), a German metering technologies company. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Florida State University and a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of South Florida.
