GIS (Global Inkjet Systems) from Cambridge, UK, has appointed Laura Able in the new position of head of customer experience. This role is expected to strengthen the company’s continued commitment to excellent account management and technical support for its customers in the industrial inkjet sector.

Laura Able brings a wealth of experience and discipline to the role, most recently following 11 years as global customer experience manager at Domino Printing Sciences.  At Domino, Able was responsible for the customer experience strategy, driving a customer-first approach to business processes across their global sales and manufacturing sites.

“My passion for operational excellence is nearly as strong as my passion for exceeding customer expectations.  Our teams at GIS are committed and customer focused, so by optimising technology and processes we are able to increase proactive support for our customers – every step of the way.  My ambition is for every customer interaction with GIS to be a positive one,” said Able.

Debbie Thorp, business development director, commented: “We are delighted to have Laura on board in this new senior position. As our account management and technical support teams continue to expand, Laura’s appointment is critical to managing our internal growth successfully, and to achieving the best possible relationship with our customers.”
