The Rhenotherm Group is a service company for functional coatings with a focus on non-stick, dry lubrication, corrosion and wear protection. For more than 40 years we have been developing and applying coatings by combining layers of plastic, ceramic, metal or silicone.
Our surfaces are specially tailored solutions for a wide variety of applications and thus increase the function and service life of the coated components.
Especially for lightweight materials such as CFRP and GFRP, we can apply wear-resistant traction and non-stick layers, which enable use in the manufacture of adhesive tape, for example. For this purpose, ceramic or metallic wear protection layers are applied by thermal spraying (arc spraying, powder flame spraying, atmospheric plasma spraying) and then sealed with a traction or non-stick layer, for example based on sol-gel.
